They were trying to build a bridge that could help citizen get more contact for easy trading and all especially during winter season but the Lord of Khallak did not agree to it and since Sylhan could easily convince people and all the Lord of Khallak slowly poisened him driving Sylhan insane and allegedly commiting homicide, the lord of Khallak knows that if Sylhan is sane he will take over the throne, Gjord took the punishment for Sylhan but it was also a torture for Sylhan
