Agreed. Hated how the director tried to control him and then he tells the team leader "we need to give him space" like team leader did something wrong. I get the whole idea of the director coming from a controlling family, but I really don't like how he did stuff without his friend nothing.
Looking at the author's twitter, the director and the friend get back together soon (the updates are like 12 chapters behind, but IDK if that's just for uploading or if it's the English updates).
