Y'know, I do like the fact that characters with real dead family/friends were pretty consistently doing whatever it takes to bring them back. The exception being Shinoa, but homegirl doesn't have good memories with Mahiru. So you can treat it like she doesn't have dead family. So Yoichi with the fake family, Mitsuba with her no dead/piece of shit family, and Shinoa have more stakes in the present then the past. Kimizuki, Mika, Yuu are the opposite, and want to get their family/eachother back.
I think based how its going to with Shinoa being the only one left shes going to still try to get Yuu to settle on the present. Despite how much she's saying, "we're all eachother's family." The only one she actually cares about living, in the now with, is Yuu. I know this because she is expeditiously down to kill Mika to get what she wants. I don't mind this turn of events tbh.
