I've never been in a relationship besides those in RPs but what I can say is that the greatest perk of being single is freedom. You can do whatever the heck you want without boundaries (unless it's something involving your family lol).

BTS : A friend introduced them to me after I became a Kpop fan. I didn't put that much attention to them until I watched their AHL and TRB concert. V and Suga biased :)
