Tbh, either the readers here only read romanticised omegaverse where rape is very common but because the ml is hot or whatever they let it slide, but now because they’re seeing the reality of omegaverse (ugly men exploiting omegas) theyre just like eugh this ruins the fantasy of omegaverse
OR the readers are mad because it doesn’t follow the trope of “rich ml cares for broke omega and immediately gives him money and SAVES him” like…? Tbh it was already a miracle that the ml came and saved mc from asphyxiation bcoz the sad reality is: prostitutes don’t get these sort of miracles. From the 1st chapter, this story was going to depict the realities of omegaverse and the 0 rights they have - and obviously omega prostitutes would be treated like shit and meeting a guy won’t relieve them of this position. The ml not paying him is a bit frustrating coz mc rlly needs the money but it also makes since a) he didn’t ask for sexual services (mc came onto him first) and b) he doesnt want to pay the mc for sec bcoz he’s technically the fiancé and doesn’t want to treat him like a prostitute.
Also contrary to popular belief, I don’t think the author has a “rape fetish” or whatever because they draw scenes with other patrons, i think they’re genuinely drawing it to depict the realities of omega prostitutes and how miserable it can be. You can kinda tell when u see him have sex with the ml (he kinda enjoys it) vs the other customers (extreme disgust). Yes, maybe the author doesn’t need to draw each client session in extreme detail but then we wouldn’t know how fucked up it would be as well. At the end of the day, this would be the life of a broke prostitute nearing the age of 30.
Holy yap session, I’m mainly saying this bcoz a lot of ppl are complaining about this manwha but this is genuinely one of the only stories I’ve read which don’t romanticise omegaverse and rape. And I truly think all the scenes depicted are realistic and not veiled into some type of rape fantasy. All in all, I’m really enjoying the story so far and shout out to jujucat for uploading this

im not the OP but personally, some omegaverse stuff i've read usually contained so many rape / losing their instincts. It feels really dehumanizing in my eyes so i try not to continue those that have irked me multiple times:(
