i'm actually interested in psyka's backstory, i don't think tragic backstories serve to justify the actions, but it adds to the story. i like that mc and ml are going through trials not because of nothing but as a result of a cyclical societal issue that just so happened to be in the same world as someone psyka who thinks the end justifies the means, no matter how immoral.
this was actually such a good chapter, they didnt dance around each other for too long and both of them wanted clarification instead of assuming things, even when it got heated
