Y’all are way too harsh on Scott and tbf, I really didn’t like him as well but when I took the time to actually read the words and understand him and his perspective, his growth became such a compelling arc that it honestly made me want to see more of him. I think people are quick to judge because he’s annoying and we love the main characters but give it a chance, his journey of finally finding something to care about, taking control of his life and put a stop to his self-destruction is one of the better written aspects of this manhwa. I still don’t particularly like him as a person but that was very good arc.

I dunno about you guys but I love how Tei is not merely feeling jealousy here. I mean it is somehow an aspect of his spiral but more so, he is so completely one with his culture and his previous occupation as a knight and the need to prove himself that he loses all purpose now that it’s seeming to be impossible. Don’t get me wrong, I love characters that are driven by pure romantic motivation alone but incorporating personal issues and feelings of inadequacy is the key to really writing compelling arcs.

I dunno the most unrealistic thing about this is how the bodyguard MC is somehow wayyyyy hotter than the actor ML. Just me? Okay lmao

I dunno y’all but also an overachieving woman in a field that is mostly dominated by guys, I like Hyeondo’s perspective more. If my partner didn’t give up because he wants me to rightfully earn what’s mine, I would honestly be touched that he would have so much trust in me. I think it’s kinda empty to have something be handed over to you if you don’t really deserve it especially considering that here, it’s a position of power over other people. And it doesn’t seem like Hyeondo really cares for it anyways, he just knows that the Yuhyeon wouldn’t like to earn it that way anyways.

This is getting on my last nerve tbh. I have a lot of respect for Fargo and I love her art. I try to be more gracious since everything we read on here is free but she should really do better on this story since it can literally be a correction of the love story Byul’s got which was anything but wholesome. So far, it seems the author has dropped the ball on every major plot line in the story and it really is such a shame since she started this with such a huge fandom backing this with the original LIAI being considered an omegaverse staple at this point.

The characters just feel disjointed sometimes and the plot seems to go in circles. I really want to love this because I love the art but yeah, this has just not been doing it for me so far.
