I love this manga. The uke is understanding and mature, at the same time still maintaining a cute and innocent aura. Sensei is a thoughtful and responsible adult - I really like the way he confessed his feeling but still waited for Kaname to graduate before officially dating him. They are both so considerate and gentle toward each other (▰˘◡˘▰) (●'◡'●)ノ (● ̄(エ) ̄●) It's such a heartwarming story.
I've read a lot of yaoi and most couples have this problem: they can't communicate with each other. A relationship does NOT ONLY contain sex and lovey-dovey moments, like, just a sec ago you two were arguing so aggressively and then, a higher power up there enlightens you, suddenly you understand each other sooooooo clearly and "I love you so much", finally, sex??? (Yea yea make-up sex is good but it's not solution to everything).
Sometimes a relationship has down times and you have to make the hard decision to lay things bare, to talk and compromise, even if it's difficult. Shuuna and Hayashida-san certainly are not perfect yet, but they have the feeling of "trying" and "getting there", and it's a good thing after all ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I see some comments say that the final extra brings some closure, but I don''t know, even before that, I already believed Ito-san and Kyosuke would find their way back together, bc... they just belonged, and destiny??? The extra makes it official though, and some of Ito-san fashion choices are still questionable, but the kitty pin is adorable (≧∀≦)

it's part of the last episode. maybe it's not clear for other readers but for me, it is obvious. he agreed with the boss that in exchange for his memories, they would let itou-san go. OFC itou-san would sought him out and be acquainted to him in a natural way since itou-san believes that it's a good think for him to loose his memories. AND i also think that itou-san is the one behind the erasing of kyosuke's police records.

"Loving someone is also about carrying the pain of losing them."
Well, there's my reason for being an eternal single dog ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
But seriously, this is such a heartwarming story. And I love the dad, he is easy-going and a bit flighty at times, but also serious, caring, and understanding. No wonder why he's raised two fine sons.
