I don’t understand how you can call it selfishness, when it was due to the emperor’s behavior. She met the man for like a week only for everything she thought she knew to be a ‘ lie ‘ when it was really gaslighting. And then the ml doesn’t explain anything, not his fault- he’s traumatized and believes it doesn’t matter. But that’s not his or her fault. She literally was prepared to marry she literally asked a simple and reasonable request ‘ can I see him so he can explain this to me ‘ and then he doesn’t show up for what’s basically their wedding, that lady didn’t get a wedding!!!
