Do you think you can erase trauma and everything just because someone said they like you and you like them? Jiwan is scared, not entitled. He's scared that he'll fall so deeply in love with Taeyang that he can't let him go when he becomes unhappy with him in their future, and not to mention that Taeyang is still young at that time. His trauma was not just trauma — it's something his parents, his supposed-to-be family, etched into his very being, lest you forget the part where his father said he was born to make his loved ones unhappy, that an insane person like him can't be happy, and when he also said that homosexuality is a mental illness. So don't say he's entitled just because of his trauma.

u don’t see my point. what he did is repeat the cycle of trauma. yes he believed his father's words.. he was afraid he would make his loved ones unhappy.. but breaking off without any proper explanation? what’s the justification for that?

Are you dumb? If he knew he is traumatized he shouldnt even try to repeat the same thing. What he did is just repeating the same trauma that he have, yes you can do it unconciously i was abused since i was a kid which make me a bit heavy handed when mad but i realise that it makes me no different so i change and hold myself back by taking a step back to calm myself. You can fucking not repeat the cyle. Its his choice to do that to Taeyang. And he's at fault.

Errr he's a gay man? In a very conservative society? Do you think it'll be easy for him to find a therapist he'd be able to open up with? And if not, would he just go to therapy while hiding the very thing about himself that constantly gives him anxiety and the reason why he was abused?

Damn some people really use therapy buzzwords anywhere. No, the MC was not traumatized by any kind of break up. He was badly hurt which is valid since Jiwan was not justified in how he dumped him - although he would have been justified in breaking up with him even if it was because of trauma - but hurt does not equal trauma. Trying to equalize an abusive, homophobic father beating his young gay son since middle school to a traumatized gay man handling the end of romantic relationship badly is crazy behaviour to me.

No offense but you have no idea what repeating the 'cycle' means. ML did not repeat any kind of trauma cycle with MC and trying to act as though he traumatized him is ridiculous. We can talk about the ML hurting the MC badly while trying to break the trauma responses he formed as an abused child but he was in no way repeating that trauma with anyone. Also, @xiaxia, no one is trying to justify the ML's decisions regarding MC, the whole story was about helping him step out of the abusive box his parents had pushed him into and he took accountability too.
