I don't think you are weird. Maybe you sense something in Shuuichi? Shuuichi seems like the type to become insecure in a relationship. I think the reason he broke up with Youta was because he wanted Youta to "fight" for their relationship. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
Youta didnt really put up much of a fight and showed he has a very narrow way of understanding love. Love is a broad diverse feeling (emotion). To love someone is to want to be with that individual(s) everyday, its the way you think of them at odd hours of the day or the way you just look at them and randomly think "How the Fk did i get so lucky?" (⊙///⊙ ) It is also the 3 am discussions when one or both cant sleep because of some ridiculous reason. (=>w<) Love can also be heavy. (=╥﹏╥=) You have to be able to make an effort to carry it with you through hardship and come out with it in tact and stronger than ever.

Funny, to me it sounds like you're describing SHUUICHI not Youta. Did SHUUICHI ever SAY this to him? No? Guess who's not working hard. Hint, it ain't Youta. So Youta doesn't love his family? Because that's EXACTLY what he did for his family. Ktb.

Let me clarify because I was describing Shuuichi. Your right that Shuuichi did not put in the effort to keep his relationship from falling apart. Which is why I said HE "wanted" Yuuta to come to a realization that his love for Shuuichi is real and to be with Shuuichi and to also fight for them to be together. But we all saw that Yuuta gave up and backed down quickly after saying a few words to Shuuichi. Both characters are lacking in voicing what they want or need from the other which led to Shuuichi becoming insecure and them breaking up.

On your other point, I never said anything about Yuuta's Family because the manga had already explained Yuuta's relationship with them and the commenter I was replying to was talking about Shuuichi so I wanted to keep my response only about Yuuta and Shuuichi's relationship. I apologize if I was not clear in my response and hope this makes more sense. If not please reply to me for clarification.
