oh.. you're still here huh? well. imo, the two idiot brothers should have figured out their shit in a non sexual way and left it at that. the story was leading up to the younger brother being with the new kid, but then shit hit the fan and he ended up with his brother.. and then betty and the new kid ended up together, which, they have had LITTLE to no freaking romantic relationship outside of the first time he kissed him and said he was sexy.. no romantic build up what so ever. but.... the brother and the new kid ,that was where it should have ended. so i'm so disapointed in how this ended. i think the older brother really did love betty, and not just as a sub. for his mother, and i thought betty in his own twisted way might have loved him back. but the way it ended, it just didn't make sense since the other two character's really didn't have any type of actual interaction that could have been 'love'. this manga, i hate to say it. really pisses me off. i kept thinking upon it and pondering for days , and i came to this conclusion. i hate the fact that the author tried to force the character's in love interests instead of trying to fix the main issues and let them both be happy with other people. their relationship is screwed. it probably needed another volume or two to really flesh it out, so maybe it was time crunch. but it wasn't well ended, and it just annoyed me. but that's my opinion. still read it.
It hasn't ended tho? They're just waiting on new translations. You dislike the literal plot of it which just means you shouldn't read it. Not all stories are supposed to be positive and nontoxic.The brothers being together is essential to this story as it's literally about them and about a disgusting relationship. It's about how their twisted childhoods became the root of incest. The eldest did not love Betty, it was clear as day that he didn't. He loved the reminder of his mother and in this way he'd get that love he never got from her. And it would have never worked as Betty was never invested in it either and only did it as a spy. The story was never leading up to the new kid and the youngest. The cover photo is literally of two brothers. In short stories like this, the author sketches out the plot of it from the beginning. It wasn't a story leading up to something else, the plot(two brothers together) existed first and everything else was to fill in the rest.

If you pay really close attention, vol 1 and 2 was about the story of 2 brothers. There are contrast images and dialogues sprinkles everywhere tho

For you ai and the ramen boy were leading to be togteher, I never saw that. Like at all. As for Makoto being in love with Betty, I never saw any love from Makoto.
This story is not about fixing fucked up people and seeing them being happy but to see how lack of love and co dependency just destroy everything in his path.
And since volume 1 this is all about the 2 brothers and their incestuous relationship.
As for Betty and the ramen boy, I will see by myself, but since the beginning the ramen boy fell in love with him and they had many interactions since then so... I don't think it comes out of nowhere at all ^^"
