I really feel like Narnia is either brainwashed or has something mental going on. Both in the earlier chapters and Kalego Gaiden, he seems like a nice and caring older brother so him suddenly switching attitude is off putting.

The villagers torture (not rape) the demon so he could use his powers to keep monsters away from their land. This way they would be morally gray than just cartoonishly evil. Then MC would learn the truth and feel conflicted.
He doesn't wanna torture anyone but he also understands why they're doing it, he's in a corner. When he wanted to learn more about the demon, he uses his powers to reveal MC's past. MC wants revenge from the villagers but he also feels guilty for destroying it because of a mistake he made.
Demon gives him an idea, MC makes a deal with the demon and drives away all the monsters that were attacking, eventually becoming the witch the village was scared of.
Children would be left alive to become cultivators of the land who loves their ''savior'' which is what MC wanted (being accepted in a community), and their parents would become mindless worshipers to the demon they tortured.
MC would be getting a loving community, Demon would be getting worshipers and the village would drive away the monsters. Everyone would be getting what they wanted in a twisted way.
MC would become the witch they were afraid of, Demon would be the new master taking control and the village would be reviving with the powers of evilllll
Imagine: The sorcerer wanted to make a deal with the devil for selfish reasons. That's why he made MC use that elixir to create that tree. Maybe that tree was the thing that gave life to Demon and his energy was what drove the monsters here.
The sorcerer would be defeating the monsters as a hero and making a deal with the newborn demon to get stronger, eventually his greed getting the better of him when the demon realized he could do better.
Eventually MC's mom would be burned as a witch and the demon would consume the sorcerer's soul. The villagers would see this happening and capture the demon using sorcerer's book.
The would use the demon to keep their land safe and use MC's mom as an excuse, like they burned the witch and it fixed their village. They would try to get rid of MC the same way but he would survive because (insert reason, I'm tired)
Later, MC would learn the truth, help the demon, make a deal with him and become the actual witch. He could burn this village and create a new one where everyone loves him and demon uke would be getting a twisted religious figure to spread his influence.
Maybe they would be planting more trees and creating more demons, or Demon ML would drive monsters into other villagers where MC would defeat them to spread ML's influence even more. Maybe even creating a cult for him.
It would be funny, he would become what the sorcerer tried to do and what killed his mother.
So, MC was 13 when Griz was 28. He fell in love with a child then proceeded to treat him like shit instead of being honest and supportive. Then he spent 4 years looking for MC only to be a pushy coward who kissed him by force when he finally found him.
Griz was assuming MC is 17 when he kissed and touched MC, not even an adult.
A grown man pushing 30, blamed an isolated, bullied child for being desperate for support. Then he proceeded to assault him when he found him again.
Not to mention, ML's mom knew about everything and still tried to push them together.
This is like Usagi drop where the little girl fell in love with her adoptive father and everyone in the story supported it like it was a normal cute thing.

I came back just to yap about Meta and Sid more. I genuinely can't believe how their story was so above and beyond everyone else's.
MC kinda felt washed after a while, ML was doing his own thing and Jin was getting packaged to the nearest man every time but for some reason, Meta and Sid are so fucking high quality?? I could hear classical music every time they were on screen??
Sid spent the entire story betraying ML, thinking he's gonna die for his crimes but what killed him in the end was helping him instead, while rescuing Jin too!! the guy he wanted to kill and consume!!
When he first saw him, his first dialogue was ''I can't wait to gobble him up'' but not only he lost his mind, he also died while rescuing him too. He was spent both mentally and physically for a human ''he didn't care about'' and later ruined his life for. In his lowest moment, he was just living what ML was going trough except he wasn't there to guide him this time.
At the end, Jin broke and Sid lost his mind. Their relationship consumed them both and Jin was only fixed up by a magical doctor who didn't want to lose anyone again (opposed to Sid who didn't mind killing his prey).
His relationship with Meta is incredible too. He's perfectly created for Sid. He's controlling so he won't let Sid do that self sacrificing shit but he's also powerful enough to silence his inner demons too. Meta was Sid's perfect ticket to freedom and happiness but just like Sid, Meta's downfall was looking down on love and emotions.
He was an angel but his greatest loss was caused by him doing the same mistake Sid did before he learned to understand love and emotions. His downfall was directly caused by him ignoring the humanity he was supposed to protect
He did the same mistake Sid did, he looked at him as a beloved pet and didn't think much of their love. That's why when Sid died, Meta's heart died with him. Because as controlling as he is, he also needs someone to hold his hand and guide him, to keep him grounded.
Their reincarnation was the best possible ending for both of them. Sid doesn't have his demons anymore and he's finally in control of his life. Meta is still dominant but he's in the same pet position he put Sid in. They are both the master and the pet for each other which keeps them in line.
It's so beautifully tragic I'm shocked how incredible it was compared to the rest of the story. Don't get me wrong, I liked it but it definitely has some problems. The author locked the fuck in for them
