was it just me or was chapter 8 the same as 7? I don't see anyone posting an issue about it other than me.
Its a sad story, but I wish it were more in character. Law isn't some kid that would just sit in a room like that. He came to Doffy with the intentions of dying in three years....I mean this is AU I'm assuming, but I really just couldn't get that Law was so weak minded in this one. He wouldn't be the type to stay locked away like that and then beaten all the time. Idk. It was all basically rape. This story line would have worked better with OC characters.
you have to understand that this point law is helpless.

And law may be physically weak but no way in hell was he portrayed as being weak minded.
this was perfectly IC because, if youre saying that he was weak because of his break down in the end, it's because he acknowledges how weak he physically is at this point, unable to defy Doffy without getting killed, so he decides to sacrifice his own current self, future, for the sake of Kid's future.
He's low key manipulating Doffy, (even though he had to give up his one chance at freedom that was offered to him) and I'm pretty sure Law's decision was the most deep and strongest decision he could have made.
The fucking angst man.
Just a reminder, this doujin was created way before Law's past was exposed, maybe about the time when strawhat crew and Law just reach Dreassrosa. So of course its different and the author just make it based of her imagination and head canon that time.
So not Vegeta. He would not just accept that. He would strive to be better at all costs. I didn't really care for this one. I started out being excited over this but then I was lead to deep disappointment.
My heart stopped. I hope this goes in the opposite direction of where my mind thinks it is going.
