as an astrology fan (don't believe but the lore is fascinating), i was definitely disappointed by how little zodiac lore was actually incorporated into the manhwa. a lot of the gods, skills, etc. don't match up with the signs and their domains in astrology. why is scorpio speedy when it's ruled by pluto, the slowest planet? why is freya, the goddess of love, war, and beauty, the god for gemini, the sign of intellect? why is sagittarius associated with the sun when it's leo who's ruled by the sun? why is scorpio the ones with recorders when that should be a mercurial (gemini or virgo) domain?? why is aquarius associated with water and healing when it's an air sign and pisces is the one ruled by neptune (and also called the healer)? why is capricorn's saint a production type when aquarius is the one who's all about innovation and invention? why is aries rich when taurus is the sign with material wealth? why is virgo associated with ice when it's an earth sign? why is aquarius obsessed with her appearance when venus is the planet of beauty and rules libra and venus? why is leo about physical prowess when that's an aries thing?
though one thing they got right is libra being all about balance and its interesting that the author pitched them as the villain in contrast with the mc, who is of the 13th sign, which by its very existence puts things out of balance. (yes ive read spoilers shh)
not hating at all, this is just a bit of nitpicking and overall i love the manhwa. i think the author could've just made up some pantheon, but coming up with names is hard and opiuchus and the zodiac already carry a lot of the significance and intrigue that builds the initial premise, so i get it. still wished author-nim did some kind of research tho
I know right, Libras are supposed to be the most fair of the zodiacs, justice seekers and peace-loving. It’s what the scales represent. I was shocked to find out that they were villain
