Haruki doesn't need a character development, he's already mature, mentally and emotionally strong. He is selfless, putting aside his feelings for the sake of others especially for mafuyama when he fought with akihiko in chapter 20. that's why the fandom praise and admires him for it. He didn't forgive akihiko right away. He accepted akihiko for 7 months and gave him a second chance.not that he fully forgives him. You think he's least developed because he isn't problematic

If it weren't for the band he could've kicked out akihiko in his apartment but the good person that he is he doesn't want to bother mafuyama's effort for the band and waste their opportunity to join cac. Haruki was dealing a broken heart yet he didn't seek revenge to akihiko but instead gave his concern to the teens is admirable.

He wasn't strong enough to let akihiko go, he kept him around in his basement for two years and use him when it's convenient for him. Only With the help of mafuyu and his song he was able to, and in the end it was akihiko who completely move on and let go of his hand while he tries to reach for him until he remembed mafuyu's song

Ugetsu never use Aki, you can say he maybe use « GIVEN » yes but not Aki

Why should I mute this conversation? it's my thread. if akihiko still needs haruki in the first place he wouldn't have left haruki's apartment, and continue to take advantage of haruki's kindness. He couldn't have afford to bought his own apartment, or continue college, or feed himself if he still relies on haruki. For 7 months before the confession he avoid communicating to haruki because he wants to become the person worthy of haruki before he face him again

He an abuser because he admit it himself he treated akihiko cruelly, he's fully aware of his actions. It's his choice to play push and pull to hurt akihiko so he would leave. So yes ugetsu was an abuser

"I'm the lowest son of a bitch towards akihiko, I guess he resents me now" chapter 17 where he had conversation with his past to mafuyu. He could have kicked akihiko out in his basement a long time ago if he wanted too but his break up was half assed, ugetsu still kept him around and caused akihiko trauma. Both characters are problematic and made the relationship toxic as hell. Let's not deny ugetsu was extremely abusive too.

Even if you consider and understand where he's coming from its still doesn't change the fact he abused akihiko and his actions were wrong. Using love as an excuse is romanticizing domestic violence, It's similar to akihiko's assault, just because he is hurt and has issues with his ex still doesn't give him the rights to pull all his anger on haruki. both actions are unjustifiable ,no matter what the reasons are. You can like him as character but not accepting his flaws or mistakes then you fail to fully grasp ugetsu's character as a whole. He literally confessed it himself he didn't treat akihiko right, why do you strongly deny this when it's in the story
