this should be a comedy, ANG DAMI NANGYARI TANGINA
i just binged the whole series in one day, and this is the conclusion i've come up with.
the storyline, plot, artstyle, and how it was executed was actually good. typical bl manhwa where i couldn't find any fault at all. there's just little thing that id like to point out, but they're not really relevant to the plot itself and mostly based on the characters.
i really like the mc in this story, he's one of the most prettiest bl character that i saw. he's outside appearance is just perfect for me. aside from that, i also like his attitude and personality. there's no misunderstandings that occurs that are not connected to the main plot and it just didn't pop out of nowhere because of other circumstances. i like how the mc trust the ml on this one, lk he's really firm on his ground to believe the ml one way or another. unlike the characters from other manhwas where miscommunication occurs that leads to conclusion then misunderstandings, the mc and ml here actually communicates with each other that makes the events more progressive without unnecessary drama. the mc doesn't go around and make baseless assumptions without confiding the ml first and he always tell him whenever there's something that bothers him. that's one of the reason why the mc stands much compared to other mcs. he's also brave and doesn't rush things or make decisions without thinking first (this is debatable given by other chapters, but i think they're part of his growth). so overall, i didn't see that much flaw on the mc, and he's more commendable for me.
in my opinion, things started to shift when season 3 started. the first chapter in s3 felt rush, lk they made 2 events fit in one chapter. and also there's unnecessary sex scenes that are longer than the actual events. but i think the mid chapters were good. except for the last chapters, i understand that the finale is near but they could've executed it better. the important events could've gone under detailed execution, for example when the mc was kidnapped by the noona. it just happened suddenly and was swept under rag after it was resolved. they didn't even properly explained the cause and just ended everything there. and lastly, i think the ending is not terrible at all. the play was actually kind of dramatic. and the characters got the ending that they deserve.
the main victim of the story is the mc and ml, after all the suffering they got their happy endings. while the other characters, i think they also deserve it. their ending is the consequences of the actions they made, they're not innocent and they were aware of what they did in the past, it's bitter but they know the consequences of the revenge they wanted. as for ml's step brother, i think the perfect ending for him was death. after all the things he's gone through, i think death is also what he wants. but i know the author wouldn't let him die just like that.
this is my opinion and how i view the story. overall it was a good read. i think i'll be back again if it had a side story.
the storyline, characters, world building, and the manhwa itself is unique and refreshing to read, but what got me the most is the artstyle, it's not common to see this type of artstyle especially in an action genre, it makes the manhwa unique compared to other ones
i should've read the comments first before diving into the story, honestly im disappointed on how things unravel, i thought this will be a good action manhwa, i like arthur and his growth in the entire story especially how they portrayed his family, but in my opinion they should've focus more on the action theme and avoided the romance plot, especially when you think a 50-60 yr old guy in the body of 12 yr old kid dating a 13 yr old girl is outright wrong, at least in my moral belief, i had hopes he will reject her and all so i didnt think things will turned out that way, i had fun reading the story but alas i have to drop this one, it was actually disappointing in my part after coming this far
