"The emotions are shown best with this language"? English?? I beg to disagree ahahahahah true that the dialogues here are mimicking Jane Austen style and therefore they are full of (sometimes unnecessary) pathos - which I also appreciate - but English is not really a romantic language.
I'm on chapter 55 and I'm so afraid about what's gonna happen. It seems like the mc has such a cool bond with the "all-in" kid, they get along so well and it's so nice but it's obviously it's not gonna end up, and I really don't wanna see that

People keep mentioning the slow burn, but I could care less. To me, the romance gotta be the most important aspect of the story, but I'm enjoying it's chapter so much I don't even long for it. When it happens it happens, until then I'll just enjoy this classic literature piece of art ride.

I didn't finish the chapter before I decided to drop. Not because of the abuse per se, but because what I hate to see the most is when the mc breaks under the abuse and starts pandering to the ml. For example, all was "good", until yujin decided to go from angry to nice to aaron. I get that it's a survival strategy, and in real life I'd do the same. But in manwha's I cannot. It pisses me off too much thinking about how the ml's treating him so badly that yujin ends up feeling like he has so way out. Because they'll still end up together. If yujin kept on being bitchy and angry I would've kept going. I seriously cannot stand how the author is downplaying what's actually at play here, where even yujin's thoughts are casually brushing off how he's being raped and held against his will, as if that's not the most fucked up thing ever
