I agree she deserves another love in her life. This would of been ok if he himself was the only one who remembers everything but unfortunately the female lead remembers everything and all her trauma so that second chance is very underserved he even understood that if she herself remember if would be hard for him to get a second chance because he abandoned her for yrs and took away her only son and gave it to another women who he married and not once let her speak to her child. So nope that only thing he deserve is death and stay miles away from her

My thoughts exactly, im fine till "we are friends " too but definitely not lovers because even if the duke was forced because of fl's father but the pain, the sadness, the trauma is real and she has felt that for so so long and she remembers it all and it simply makes no sense to me why she would end up with him when she has a second chance?
