this is one of my all time favorite shounen, a masterpiece in my point of view.
The manga is based up on a very famous fantasy historical novel of China but the characters concept bears a modern fantasy style, which managed to surprised me at first but then amazed me for life.
I read this manga since I was very young and then read the original novel later. The plot line and development quite takes after the original, only the later part differs a little bit.
The original novel has been adapted into a lot of TV series versions in China in the name of Fenshenban (封神榜 ) but none of them managed to engage me deeply like the manga version of Ryu Fujisaki did. He made the characters more lively and thus inflicted more emotion on me.
This story has a lot of death, they all die for the Houshin plan ( god sealing plan). In the novel their death is describe quite blatantly with few of words , but in manga even the minor characters like Gyokutei shinjin or Fugen shinjin have enough development to leave us regret when they passed away.
I have read the whole series many years ago and still regret why not buying it at that time. It's one of my fav comedy school life manga that I failed to add in my collection at home and can never touch it again. ( Another one is 1m92 complex)
2x2 is a rare manga which managed to depict the characteristic, the love hate relationship, of a pair of identical twins ( i believe that another one is Ouran Koukou Host Club). They are identical yet have contrast characteristic in many aspects, which leads to both amusing and depressing situation .
The manga has 2 pairs of identical twins but the development rather focused on the male twins rather that the female one. They are a lot funnier.
this comic is really special and interesting. the hero is described as a real villain, a fuck up cruel shit that no one can favor a little bit. But the idea is kinda original and the concept of the world is quite realistic. it's harsh but it's true.
I'm quite curious to what extent this guy can become and when will he reap what he sowed
I'd say the seed was planted when that scar was left on the baby fluffypuff's eye. The MC sees them as animals, but watch it turn out that they're the more intelligent species, who are just incredibly peaceful, moreso than the elves, but even they will have a breaking point.
It's smoking hot even the drawing style is quite old. I like the hospital story the best
