if i was in his shoes, i wouldnt resort to lying even if im trying to be avoidant. i would just be vague, like "oh yeah smt happened and i hurt myself. dw tho" "oh yeah that crazy guy? idk what he wants. just ignore him" instead of making up obviously bullshit lies, even as far as basically covering up for his trashy ex, when he knows what hurt him and drifted them apart the first time was him lying/omitting information. its not helping his case at all. how does he expect someone to trust him again when all he does after saying that he'll open up more is follow up with more lies?

i feel like this is such a perfect amount of frustration, misunderstanding, and avoidant that isnt usually seen in manhwas tbh. it didnt drag for the sake of dragging. his timid characteristic feels too realistic its scary. but it was gooooodddd!!! not too long, not too rushed. and they're CUTEEEE
this and the prof in hanamiya.... the stories of older people not being able to be united and seeing their descendants pursuing the love that they once gave up.... its always so bittersweet (more bitter than not!) and will always leave me crying to the hell and back
