wait so. just based on ch 1 and the cover here. so the guys in the cover werent the initial couple, and that the "initial couple" is actually pretty guy in the cover and some other guy that the comments seem to hate...? so is it like uhhhh idk "save the princess" type of thing where its like the pretty guy will most likely end up with the guy on the cover bc his previous partner (that everyone hates) is dogshit..?
Yeahh not to spoil but the 2 in the cover is building up to be like the main couple but currently in the book the pretty man with the black hair who is on the cover is not dating but like sleeps with someone else (the 2nd lead i?) and he’s terrible but they both sleep with each other bc of issues that haven’t fully been answered yet . I would just read it bc it’s kinda hard to explain buts it’s not rlly a love triangle

It’s not a love triangle. You might think it is but it’s more of Ban is stuck is a situation where he’s in love with his groomer(Ray) but Ray knows all along about Ban being in love with him, so he just takes advantage of that. Then now he got Shinwi who is a total stranger that came into his live out of nowhere and they get a bit close and now Shinwi tells him what he needs to hear even though he says things in the wrong way possible but it needs to be said. Then Ban starts thinking of him more and more that he doesn’t want to be with Ray or something like that. Shinwi hasn’t shown to much sign that he likes Ban but he has shown that he really cares about him more than Ray has shown in all the years that Ban has been groomed.
i read it bc of the silly smutty scenes didnt expect the story to be hella good and got me crying by the end
its so adorable!!!! also hysteric lol. the start was dubious af and pacing was all over the place, but characterization is good and consistent. and they're adorable as a couple
