The mc has a crush on the girl in his class, he also sits right next to her in the classroom so he lends her an eraser. Later she drops it and right when the mc wants to pick it up the other guy does it and gives it back confused. The eraser has his name on it which means the mc (but actually the girl) likes him (some thing in Japan I guess?) so the mc can't say it's not him cuz he doesn't want to embarrass his crush, so he pretends to like the guy and that guy is very interested in why the mc likes him
