Facts wrong you got wrong: Sovieshu's deal with Rashta was that she would ONLY be an empress for A YEAR (bureaucratic processes for getting Gloriem to be the next heir take 1 year) after that she would be deposed and allowed to have her mansion somewhere.

Reason why Rashta never prepared, study or even eyed being an empress and wanted to be Navier's friend first. She never had planned or was interested in being an empress long-term. She knows she can't.

She never planned to """""" steal """"" Navier's empress title. Reason why she proposed to be allies at first with Navier. BUT Navier's supporters, her lady in waitings, family brother and family started mocking and humiliating her during gatherings because their husbands and unmarried sons were loose men (flirted with her) and because Sovieshu openly and publically empathize Rashta is more important to him than Navier. In this situation where people are gunner her, and her own background is natural that Rashta ended up doing the same thing the other ladies did to her (bad mouth them).

Rashta has no role model when it comes to etiquette except her Abusers-Masters, Navier and her ladies in waitings aka people that abused others and throw accusations with repercussions. Just like a child Rashta imitated them: abused her servants, did crimes (bc Sovieshu showed her a monarch is above the law), wore red dressed just like Navier who she admired and wanted to be and spread lies in court just like Navier's ladies and waiting did about her.

I'm supporting anyone. Everyone is trash in this webtoon. Replying only because you seem to just want to parade that Navier is some sort the person in the right here. Navier was equally a selfish person. She's portrayed as someone that deeply loves her empire yet despite knowing Rashta cannot handle her job she ditched everything to elope to save face.
I recommend having a reality check Navier DID nothing when her friends, family and ladies in waiting started a smear campaign against Rashta. She's not some sort of victim here.

Your inserting your own narrative... Rashta NEVER mentioned in the novel/webtoon she wanted to remain empress after the 1 year dead line. Never. The only reason she defended her role as empress was bc she grew aware and has confirmation that deal was off and a crowd with pitchfork are waiting outside her window.

well i never spoke of morality nor empathy i was just pointing out that the issue with the MC and ML stems from the ML trying to control the MC through money when it HAS BEEN established that MC does not care for it bc he wanted to EARN his freedom so to speak through his own means and merit, HE TOLD ML that he was happy bc now he does not have to worry about the debt and the ML told him to dedicate himself to his studies, then gets mad when he does so, bc he cant see through his own bullshit mentality that pushes him to throw money at his 'problems' when he should just tell MC that he likes him back.

YES! MC was suspicious of how his "father" paid off the debt, but he was willing to lay dogs lie bc it meant that he would not have the loan sharks tailing him everywhere he goes anymore. that's the problem with your opinion. in the first place, doing something extreme for someone like paying off a huge debt should be communicated well first with the one you're helping, especially when they have deliberately told you that they want to do things their own way, so they get to choose if they want to or not. disrespeting their autonomy is a controlling move even though you think helping with the debt is financially beneficial to the MC, because you don't get to decide what should be beneficial just because MC lacks options. the ML prefer to love-bomb when it's better to just communicate his feelings

you think MC have not contributed anything to the relationship? relationships are not ledgers. you literally contribute TRUST, and MC gave every ounce of his even though ML has been so confusing. ML's help, while generous, came with strings attached (secrecy, control, disregard for MC's wishes). that makes it less of a help and more of a leash. yes cooking for the ML is an important aspect of their relationship and you can see it by how the ML gets smug about it while telling his secretary that he would not be attending dinner meetings from that point on— he is excited at the prospect of having MC at home cooking for him bc it shows that he cares and thinks about ML and considers him an important part of his life by saying "if i cant cook breakfast for you, then let me cook you dinner every night". when you juxtapose that to ML going behind the uke's back bc he knew that he would not want the money on those terms, then his intentions do not come across as "i want you to know that you dont have to worry about this issue, I've got your back" but rather "i paid this x amount of money for you, so now i *own* you, even if you dont want me to"— keep in mind that this hits very close to home for MC bc its similar to his situation with his dad: his father took a debt in his name without him knowing then left him to fend for himself, then all of a sudden appears demanding even more money from him, how could this escape MC's mind when the ML is doing the same (even if he's "giving")? mind, he still doesn't tell him that they are more than sexual partners. Also, MC is the one trying to talk and understand and he wasnt throwing things in anger when he confronts him, ML just dismisses him and calls him pathetic.
Just for the record though, its not like i dislike the ML, i find him frustrating yes but i think the story is progressing quite nicely and from what raws ive seen i think it would do him good to be without the MC and get time alone to reflect on his actions, although i dont think he will get there for a long while
