I feel like the comment and topic section should just merge cause they both get used for the same thing. I don’t really see the two being that distinct from each other, except that sometimes people leave summaries in the comment section. U can’t even interact w the comments either, no like dislike button, u can agree but it’s useless, and can’t reply
Comments section is meant for summaries and reviews of the overall manga/hwa/hua. Users can only make one post in the comments section. A reader can look at this section to decide if a manga is worth reading.
Topic section is for all other discussions. Readers can discuss freely. Most of the time readers are speaking about the newest update, so this section is not always helpful for users who are gauging whether they want to read the story or not.
Both sections are necessary. I would prefer it if they changed the header names though. I think "Reviews" and "Comments" works a lot better than "Comments" and "Topics".
imo, the comment section is actually very useful. comment section is the general overview of a series whilst topic is the specific ones (comments about the happenings in each chapter).
everytime I'll start a new ongoing and already more chapters manhwa, id always check the comment to actaully see if the series is actually good, and sometimes, people in the comment section are the ones who actually provides synopsis for the series, its very useful imo
i cant go straight to the topic section because there is a high possibility that I'll get spoiled or i wouldn't understand their commenrs at all... but this may vary to everyone, this is based on my personal experience after all.
A whole section for summaries that’s named “comments” is so misleading…And why does this community use that tab primarily for summaries when there is already a summary right there. And I agree the names should be changed to something like that. Comments should be used for reviews and it would make so much more sense, if someone wanted to decide if they wanted to read something, the sensible thing would be to look at a review of it right? but instead ppl are writing summaries (theres one already there). I don’t doubt that some people use it for reviews but since first using this site I’ve never seen one and that’s cause ppl dont even know what that section is for anyway
THE SYNOPSIS IS ALREADY THERE WITHOUT THE COMMENTS THO AGHHH. Why don’t people write reviews? And other than synopsis people just type random stuff in the comments that they would type in the topics. And I’ve seen spoilers in there before too. Tahts cuz ppl don’t know what purpose that section serves. If u wanna see that the series is good comments name should be changed to Reviews and both reviews and topics should have a spoiler check mark next to it so people won’t get spoiled. But this will never happen cause this site is old asf

Sometimes when a manga is uploaded, there isn't a synopsis so other users will put a summary in the comment section. I've gone to the comments for a summary many times before.
It could also be for the user's own reading lists. Your comment/review for a manga can be seen when you look through your want to read/read/already read lists. Cover photos can change and synopses aren't visible on lists, so putting it in the comment/review section is an easy way to remember the story and your thoughts on it.
Ok that makes more sense, all of the times ive seen summaries in the comments theres already been a summary there though so its confusing buttttt good to know
I vaguely remember using emojis on here would shadowban accounts but now I see ppl using them all the time was the fixed with the maintence?
Honestly I’ve always used emojis, and never gotten shadow banned. I think it’s safe to say that it’s allowed now
You don't get shadowbanned for using emojis. They allow emojis, but they are very limited.
I like their toxic dynamic. People complain about Yeongwoon being a pushover but i like that hes willing to do whatever Seo in wants just cause he still has feelings for him, it makes the angst really good. And him being a pushover is not his only personality trait, i wish people would stop dumbing him down, along with Seo in. Seo in is a person who in reality is just afraid of Yeongwoon playing him/looking down on him, and that hes actually just being nice to him like he does to everyone else. He desperately wants to pretend that his time with Yeongwoon meant nothing to him even though that's not the case. Im staying reading this for the miscommunication plot. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
