the men here (except anahkin) are so selfish, egotistic and arrogant. they don't treat the women like human beings at all now i feel sorry for helena being stuck with that scumbag, she deserves to be loved properly too
i feel like part of the "point" is that helena doesn't really care for romantic love? she cares about the people, so her goal is to be a good empress. she might have loved alec some point along the way, but i think seeing how he and the other men treated eris made her disillusioned with love and value it less?
a lot of comics have every side character paired up with a love interest in a way that feels forced to me. like they need a love interest for their stories to have a happy ending. but in this manhwa, only anakin & eris got together. all the other side characters got endings that suited them and matched what they did previously. i really liked that—i mean, what other comic has endings like becoming cursed to live with an older body, becoming a familiar, and becoming a goddess? thats so sick; i love it!
yes i totally get what you mean. she has so much goodness in her so she will definitely do her best for her people. but at the same time, i kinda wish she wouldn't have to stay with the prince yk? she'll have to put w his ass for a lifetime and that's..... but yeah considering the kind of society they live in, i guess it's wishful thinking to have the best of both worlds for her
no that makes sense; he's an annoying pos. but maybe bc they used to be childhood friends and lovers, it wouldn't be as bad for her? idk now it's me having wishful thinking, though thinking of her having some fondness for him also doesn't sit right XD she doesn't know the extent of how bad he was to eris
the amount of people invalidating juheon's feelings is insane. i get you guys think it's not that deep but for someone who carried trauma for being used his whole life to love someone on the foundation of trust only for it to be a lie— the love, hate, doubt + family issues unfortunately is that deep.
Completely agree everyone is acting dense as if, if they were not in Doug’s pov 90% of the time they would understand why juheon would not want to be in a relationship with someone he holds resentment for regardless of if dohu was his first love, he doesn’t owe dohu anything especially since they broke up .
Exactly this! His whole life he was used by everyone, especially his family, and finally opened up for someone, was betrayed again! It leaves a huge trauma! Of course he loves Duha, this is why he's so damn conflicted, and for sure there is not only that betrayal part, there is much more regarding his family why he's pushing Duha away!
From the other hand we have Duha who understood his feelings through those 4 years and wants to fight for his love!
They both went through a lot, but you can see that they truly love each other...
They need to work on that and heal together, as none of them is without a fault here, but definitely Juheon's POV, especially form past 4 years will show more

everytime i think it couldn't possibly get any worse, it just does. you really can't simply logic your way out because there are many variables to consider
