Sometimes I can't believe that THIS is the manga that really got me into yaoi and omegaverse over 15 years ago. I was so enamored by the then novel concept. The early family drama and sci-fi aspects of the madararui world are so interesting but... yeah I forgot just how convoluted and trashy this really was. I hated everyone and couldn't... no I STILL can't get past volume 6 after rereading many times over the years. I loved the OVAs so much, especially Yonekuni and Shirou's origin story. I'll never forget how I felt all those years ago and how this put me on the right path... or maybe the wrong one XD I also credit the Love Pistols AMVs for introducing me to Billy Talent (iykyk the specific AMV~) Oh what to do with such conflicting nostalgia?

A lot of the names feel like they were all taken from video games:
Maki - Persona or Final Fight
Arata - Digimon
Rowen - Tales of Xillia
Sheena - Tales of Symphonia
Yoshiaki - Sengoku Basara 4 but also... producer of Super Mario and Legend of Zelda... this can NOT be a coincidence right?! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Ren Amamiya is the exact name of Persona 5's protagonist BUT that game didn't release till laterr, plus the first name they used was Akira Kurusu. But man, Ren Amamiya is so specific... does Zaria-sensei have some connections?!?!
I'd actually love to see a manga with a sweet guy x prince-like girl where they love each other for who they are. No reinforced sexist stereotypes. Just two people in love with a natural dynamic. I think there is one with a pink haired girl but I'd like a dark haired ponytail prince like Hiiragi-sama

I wonder if just dumping that at the end about Kaga was meant to vastly distinguish him from Madoka? A foil even. Kaga went for a young Hasune and cast him aside so easily, while Madoka turned down young Shunpei for his own good and remained loyal to Hasune. Total oposites. Oh, and looking back isn't Shunpei in another one of sensei's works?!
It's been a long while since I last read this, but I finally got a hold of the drama CD and... it's perfect! ヾ(☆▽☆) They picked a more masculine voice for the blue collar uke (Furukawa Makoto) than white collar seme (Shingaki Tarusuke), so it matches perfectly with their manga characters ♡ That's 3 for 3 CDs of Sachimo's where the seiyuu choices were perfect, so I think shes calling the shots on that. Also, it's crazy how Tarusuke has played TWO Yashiros.
There's an extra track that doesn't show up on here. I wonder if it's a CD special or if there's a mini chapter missing? I would love to see it cuz it sounded so good!(/TДT)/
I also forgot about her little blurb at the end where she mentioned for the first time saw hot sweaty men and fawned over them for herself, not just for making BL (≧∇≦)

Two of the BEST in the business seiyuu played in this drama CD: Shingaki Tarusuke x Satou Takuya. The manga was already hot enough, absolutely ecstatic. I thought it couldn't get any hotter... but they made it happen! My God. They're always so good together (3rd CD I've heard of em together) and this was no different. They even extended a couple scenes... I think I'm ascending. Thank you for your timeヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Try to support these works wherever possible so they can feel our deep love and appreciation
