because they need to know you are pregnant since they are your partner BUT asking for their permission to abort the baby is a BIG NO NO for ME. That's your body bitch and you'll carry a goddamn babyyyy bitch. This bitchass doctor keeps on pmo. What do you mean they're prohibited to use condom and now that the omegabells is pregnant, he needs his partner's permission to be able to abort the baby? Like, wft bro?

the storyline IS stupid BUT he doesn’t need his partner’s permission. the doctor said it was ultimately his choice, but he just HAS to notify his partner. not that he needs his permission.

The laws requiring him to notify the biological father through LEGAL documentations means it's not SIMPLY informing. It's the doctor's subtle way for him to ask for the alpha's permission or consent over his decision to terminate or proceed with the pregnancy through his signature/stamps/whatever

i get that that is the implication and it’s fucking stupid but i’m just explaining to op that legally, it’s not about needing the alpha’s “permission.” the doctor said “whether or not you continue the pregnancy is ultimately your decision. however, your partner must be aware of it” (yes, by legal documentation). that’s why she brings up the legal aid/omega maternity protection services (n how they’re “quite good these days”). probably for those cases where the alpha DOES wants to step in and stop the abortion (by maybe not providing their stamp/signature to prove they were notified thus preventing the procedure.) it’s fucking stupid to have to notify the alpha n proof that they did. but at the end of the day, it apparently isss the omega’s decision n he doesn’t need the permission. like regardless if the alpha agrees or not, the abortion can still be had as long as they’re notified (this is when the legal aid comes in if it’s not easy to get that proof.) again, fucking stupid but i was just clearing that up for op.

I know that you want to clear things up for op, but I'm also explaining that NO, it's not just simply to notify the alpha like you said in your first reply to which the op said "thanks for correcting me", and I'd assumed they understood the doctor's words as simply to inform the alpha 'partner', nothing more, nothing less. The documents the doctor gave usually have written statements like he has been made aware of the pregnancy, understood all the consequences that follow the decision regarding the pregnancy, and agreed not to take legal measures in case something goes wrong or that he's changed his mind. Something like that, more or less, is what you'd typically find in a CONSENT form. So yeah, aside from that I agree

And in the end of the day, the doctor and the laws are still making him to NEED the alpha's permission whether to abort it or not. That's my point. And that what the legal documents the doctor gave implied.

but i don’t believe that’s it? if he needed ~literal permission~ (which is what i’m clarifying for op) then the doctor would’ve just said that. there’s no reason to sugarcoat it. she said it twice. apart from “whether or not you continue the pregnancy is ultimately your decision. however, your partner must be aware of it”, she ALSO said “even if you choose to proceed later, you are required to inform your partner.” both quotes explicitly say it’s HIS choice at the end of the day. he just needs to “submit documentation that his partner has been notified”. which again, i know is practically like permission but the important difference is that he can still abort regardless if the alpha agrees or not. (again, which is what i’m clarifying for op. their last sentences said/asked about needing the alpha’s permission to have the abortion. i’m clarifying/saying that no. the abortion can still be had, with or without the alpha’s permission/choice. they just need to be legally made aware of it.) the documentation u mentioned like written statements like he has been made aware of the pregnancy/understood all the consequences/ agreeing not to take legal measures/etc is a whole other thing. the only documentation the doctor mentioned in this chapter was specifically about the alpha being notified. which yea it’s probably like a signature or stamp. n she immediately follows that with “if u need assistance, contact legal aid”. only reason an omega would need aid in this case is probably if he can’t get the proof/documentation from the alpha. they probably help with proving that the alpha WAS notified one way or another.

And that's the issue. There's no legal document that ends with just NOTIFYING the other party. You can literally look it up. She said it's Geonwu's choice because the hospital also needs his signature on the papers. But ultimately, the abortion can't happen if there's no proof the alpha has been notified, and what proof is that again? The name and signature/stamp the alpha needs to put on the document or CONSENT form. That's the logic behind legal documents and legal language. Again, ultimately Geonwu needs to NOTIFY and ASK for Taejun's permission.

you said “I'm also explaining that NO, it's not just simply to notify the alpha like you said in your first reply”. but i never said that i never said it was “simply to notify”. my first reply to op was very straightforward n still stand by it. i said “he doesn’t need his partner’s permission. the doctor said it was ultimately his choice, but he just HAS to notify his partner.” yes… unfortunately by legal documentation. but if the law is to notify the partner (again, terrible law), then having legal documentation that he was notified is obvious paperwork. the whole point i was clarying for op is that the abortion can happen without his permission. permission being explicitly the alpha saying “yes, u can have the abortion.” the omega doesn’t need that. all he needs is to prove he told the alpha that he was HAVING an abortion.

because he quite literally doesn’t? like i understand the implication that it’s very similar, it’s still about including the alpha when morally, it shouldn’t, etc. but he literally does not neeeed the permission. permission by definition being the alpha agreeing/allowing for the abortion. in this universe, by law, he simply (and i don’t mean simply as in it’s a simple/easy act. i mean simply as in its all he needs to do) needs to be notified. he doesn’t have to agree. op’s initial comment is them saying “he needs his partner's permission to be able to abort the baby?”. no. again, the important this is that the abortion can be had regardless if the alpha doesn’t want it which is what i wanted op to know. by LAW, he just has to be notified that the omega is pregnant n has chosen to have an abortion. the doctor wouldn’t have said it TWICE that ultimately it’s his choice if it wasn’t. it’s a law? yes i’m taking the doctor’s words at face value. if he needed his actual permission, then the doctor would’ve clearly said “you can’t have the abortion unless the alpha agrees/allows it.” or something like that but she didn’t. she said TWICE, that regardless of what the OMEGA DECIDES, the alpha needs to be notified.

And AGAIN, I said your logic is FLAWED. Just answer my question, putting aside the maternity protection services, CAN he or CAN he NOT abort the baby without proof the alpha has been notified? The doctor can word it beautifully all she wants–even twice, you said pfft – but the government and the hospital holds the legal documents like a weapon. They call it THIRD PARTY AUTHORIZATION for a reason, please be educated

    akaashi June 9, 2026 5:09 am

i’m going by the definition of permission that implies the alpha having to explicitly say yes. that is literally ALL i was trying to clarify for op. that the alpha does NOT need to say yes. the abortion can still be had if he says no. legally, it seems they don’t even need to know if he says yes or no. just that he’s been made aware of it. (that’s why i brought up the doctor’s quotes.) i knowww what ur trying to say which is why i agreed with you that it’s basically the same thing n practically a loophole to include the alpha but LITERAL PERMISSION? no. the alpha does not need to say yes. that is ALL i’m clarifying for op. that what the alpha says, does NOT matter. yes its a type of permission in the sense that the omega cannot continue unless the alpha is notified (

Okay, fine, if that's what you meant. But how did you assume the op meant what you thought? Which is my issue, if the op didn't mean that as in a literal permission but the implications the documentations carried, your explanation could be misleading

I don’t know if I should continue reading this manhwa because I’m the one hurting for the MC at this point. My chest literally hurts even though I’m not even in his position. And honestly, I don’t want something like that to happen to me too. I keep having to pause after almost every panel because everything that’s happening is just so painful to read, and I feel so bad for the MC. Especially when the ML rubbed it in his face that he wasn’t Jin-young, and then confessed to Jin-young while the MC was right there beside him. That scene genuinely hurt.

Keep reading. Their love really blossoms so beautifully and slowly, until ML realizes he's smitten. You can already see him blushing when he accidentally ran into Chiyoung at the police station. TRUST.
