dont get me wrong I LOVE THE STORY SUPER SO FREAKING MUCH, I LOVE THE MAIN PLOT TURNING INTO A BETTER MAIN PLOT, I LOVE ABEL AND YOUR HIGHNESS! AND OFCRS MY PRECIOUS SIDE CHARACTERS!!


However, it got me to start thinking

I do kinda have opinions regarding 'student x student yaoi' mostly for the "HORNY MINOR ACTIVITIES".

(Yaoi for context is mostly a story revolving around "two men" exploring each other, and by exploring I meant their hearts, feelings, and defo body as well.)

So with that explanation, HORNY MINOR ACTIVITIES is inevitable whenever "yaoi" is involve. And what can we say irl these SHIT ALSO HAPPENS. AREN'T I RIGHT?

okay enough about horny teens, I wanna talk about Saikawa and Sayama!! At first I guilty enjoyed watching how'd Saikawa would constantly harass Sayama, which by means its a give and take situation so, his suggestion of compensation are understandable yet not justified just cuz they're minors he does sexual harassment to Sayama. yett I enjoyed em ehehehe (￣∇￣")


And after realising their feelings, things started to SHINE like literally the plot was GLOWING. From being worried about harassing the quiet kid to THEY'RE SOOOO ADORABLEEE!! Author be letting us understand both sides before jumping into the relationship. A RAINBOW was defo on my screen when their feelings are mutual! ACKKK ILOVEEM!

From there moving forward until the latest chapter (and hopefully more) we got to see, not only Sayama but BOTH OF THEM Supporting each other! Saikawa found a comforting space within Sayama, whilist Sayama getting more confident with Saikawa as his backer! You cant really hate the characters (except Hoio fxk him) EVERYONE IS JUST LOVELY!

Regarding about Tsuguru and Sensei, the I think the ADULT is cool, and said adult just romanticising a MINOR. whats worse than HORNY MINOR ACTIVITY is PHEDOPHILIA Broooo TF... the only thing I hate about Yaoi Fandom is their IGNORANCE during these types of trope. I mean, a literal ADULT towards a MINOR?? AGHHH the "last love" line sensei said didn't impact me that much because of the PREDATOR SITUATION I was seeing. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Many complaints over this being in the "BL" line up when they didn't even end up together, I see you... I do agree that we lack of their character build up and that's fine for a oneshot, we do get some gist of how deep their friendship.

From my perspective, I understand how he wanted to back off from the friend, definitely cuz he knows his boundary and just wanted to build a line between his unrequited feelings towards his friend. DEFO FELT UNFAIR FOR THE FRIEND THOUGH, like "I wasn't the one who caught feelings" then he goes and loses a precious friend. That's life i guess, mutualism and letting some people go.

If I was a middle schooler reading, maybe I would've overlooked somethings and just love the romance.

Small summary~~
Chris, the supposedly obsessed side character, regained his memory of the past then gains knowledge of his world (which is a novel) and wished to be a neglectful straight omega concubine to the king.

While which his sudden change of attitude piqued the king's interest~~ then the dotting begins!!

ALRIGHTY now this is my fave part!
First of all, the story is genuinely cute apart from the fact you STOLE a fucking PLACE for my precious Nathaniel... I get it he was just wed for political reasons BUT STILL he needs RESPECT.

Like the story clearly tells us he spents EVERY FUCKING NIGHT humping Chris, NO WONDER Nathaniel has complaints, he felt like HIS DUTY or HIS PURPOSE isn't even acknowledged for the fuck THEY'RE IN LOVE?? Why take an official husband just to FUCK a Concubine?? BLOODY HELL.

Jaekyung, ngl he redeemed his personality from his childhood upbringing, literally FUCKED. And NOOOO his actions towards Kim Dan is not justified, he is the embodiment of a evil. (some will get mad at me for that) Yes, he felt guilty at times but twisted minds like him will always result to action before thinking huhuhuhu. RED FLAG

BUT GIRL!! HE STILL SAVES AND IS KIND TO KIM DAN!? mehh damage was already done, physically & mentally for Kim Dan.

--- what went wrong in the story line? whyd most of us hate the ending?
Along the coast of looking for Doc Dan, we could see how Jaekyung still haven't piece together what he felt for Dan and that's definitely what we all wanted (for me atleast).

We wanted Jaekyung to dwell on to whatever he's feeling, as well as the frustration on how to secure Doc Dan by his side once again. CUZ YK his action that fucked up Kim Dan, was far more worse than what he is suffering rn?? SUFFER.MORE.JAEKYUNG.

Towards the ending, Doc Dan got stabbed, Jaekyung suffered hugely, Ohh that was so satisfying then WHAAAAT???? WDYM HE WAS REDEEMED AFTER WORRYING BESIDE YOU WHEN IN THE FIRST FUCKING PLACE IT WAS HIS FAULT!!

Alr, it was understandable they're feelings are mutual, in Kim Dan's fucked up life he saw that meeting Jaekyung was a halo opportunity, that pulled him out of the shittery he is living. not mad about him, lord forbid a man who just wanted love and tasted first on a damn RED FLAG.

XDD NOW I'M LAUGHING, IM JUST BASICALLY STATING THAT JAEKYUNG DOESN'T DESERVE A HAPPY ENDING ㅋㅋㅋ

Well for me, that ending could've been more smoothly written, it feels cramped, feels to force. If I may Mingwa should've let Kim Dan go until he full sure his feeling for Jaekyung ain't just because of the kindness he has shown. And I would've mostly want to see more of Jaekyung stalking and supporting Kim Dan behind his back, while Dan slowly picks himself up after that incident, yk like have a more stable job, would secretly watch Jaekyung's fighs. Then they could've reunited during Grandma's funeral,,, isn't that great? grieving and being their for each other. WELP THANK HEAVENS IM NOT A WRITER thats a cringe ending.

THE ONLY PERSON I LOVE FROM THE SERIES IS GRANDMA AND POTATO XDDD

for a 2019 story, LGBTQ is a bit shaky that year. The story potrays such a harsh reality more towards the LGBTQ community.

A painful unrequited love are always tied to gay people, which Mio represent that harsh reality, by means he wanted to get rid of that feeling and be more of a true friend towards Shion, as you can see from no contacting for 3 years, would sleep with other people, and making Shion his "last option" shows how much he cares not to let their relationship break. When they lived together he didn't have much hope (based from their interactions), and by the time he found closure to leave his feelings behind, we got such a wonderful comeback from Shion.

I see comments getting mad at the Seme cuz of the "bathroom scene" which I'll get back later.

For me the potrayal of the Seme was actually unique. For starters, he was respectful to wait for the uke to explain himself, he wasn't nosy and just helped a "friend in need". He didn't jump Mio out of lust (can't deny jealousy tho) , even in a drunken state that's what he thought would show how much he's feelings are true towards Mio. Clearly, he was a good friend that I could definitely say, its also why he is so attractive.

Alright "Bathroom Scene", (opinion of a 2026 reader)
Mio is not chained to anyone; he is a free man! His feelings do matter, whether unrequited or not, but we're only human; he too has desires of his own.In addition to that, blackmailing also took part of that relationship, so I wouldn't say Mio is accountable for his actions. The bathroom is so unhygienic, but why? Because he is a victim.Shion, on the other hand, even for me, is weird... but like he doesn't even want to entertain that thought because of how much he wanted to maintain his relationship with Mio.But then again, we're all human. He was not in his right mind afterwards that are shown how deeply he regretted it.


OVERALL! In the first place, Mio initially thought that him and Shion will never have that relationship. In which case Im glad everything worked out at the end. AND FUCK AOYAMA AS WELL

my thoughts on the story though, pretty good considering this might be a baby step story in creating comic type. Not everyone is born a pro

Un proportioned body which I'm honestly not fond of, I get icks (not that I'm great at drawing...) and as a reader I can't fully grasp the situation due to the lack of scene build up.

Other than that, the face as well rendering was actually nice! it was funny, the scenes is a bit misleading. As long as the story gets across I do hope the story gets better!

Akaashi dealing with this wolf, he neither have any close friend or he's new in handling a creature like Kagei!
