That something like that might have happened to him. It makes even more sense that the policeman/guardian was the culprit. The translation for this last chapter was a bit off (still thanks for the update) but it was enough to understand the main point.

So it was actually incheol at last chapter's visit to that woman. And he caused her fall/death... but the author has yet to tell us what is on that file that is so important. Also what is this truth he tried so hard not to see? I think he already knew his boss was shady (and he himself is no flower).
I don’t think incheol caused her fall/death. That’s just the congresswoman’s way of manipulation to blackmail him into continue following her orders so that he can feel trapped.
and they did reveal what’s important in the file… it’s that pyeonghwa is the son of the mom killed in the past. And he probably knew deep inside but tried not to think about it
I think part of the reason sometimes it gets confusing it's because Incheol and his sunbae looks too similar. More will probably be explained next chapter.

Incheol went snooping around to find out about our mysterious top, including getting info from a detective. Incheol actually found out his "allies" (the ones who tried to get the property before him) might have something to do with pyeong-Hwa current situation. Including the hospitalization (or death?) Of one of his family members. That might be why the last attempt was called off, so to not rise suspicion. Now it's a question of "What will incheol do with this information?".
