i don't get the hate towards sylvia. her entire family and her life is ruined bcs of the emperor. not to mention, she can't do anything but keep her head down if she wants to survive, suppressing her hatred for him bcs she doesn't have the power to enact revenge. i don't think her "sudden" personality change is sudden at all, altho considering i read the novel maybe that's why it didn't come as that big of a surprise.
she didn't lie when she said angie doesn't actually love the emperor, proven by the fact that sisen didn't deny her words. in fact, she's completely on angie's side. like, the enemy of my enemy is my friend sort of thing.
