Mok-jeon could have approached him before this, when he said he was getting bored of Nanjo, tell him the truth & Sunhwa would back off. Sunhwa didn't backstab his friend, Mok-jeon did and he didn't even apologize.
Mok-jeon can also do what he did this chapter with Nanjo when they were getting closer & know that Nanjo was avoiding Sunhwa, sit him down & show him the text messages. He tried to tell Nanjo the truth but he also act like the fucking Riddler, speaking vague shit & never show proof. Then just let it play out between those two, fuck, he can even be a little hero & swoop in to console Nanjo with his heartbreak
