it's not uncommon for emperors/kings/rulers/etc. to have multiple concubines or wives since royalty dont usually practice monogamy, but I think with Selina its a political marriage and the other mothers are concuvines

The Emperor only has one wife, which is the Empress and she is the mother of the three children (2 princes and 1 princess). You could call Estrella’s mom as a concubine and she made a deal with the Emperor to have his child—so, I guess, in this case, you couldn’t really call her his wife... she’s just the mother of his child.

This is a huge inconsistency that liz should be aware of and can be used to refute sheena's story. Instead she's flustered and lost the chance to confront sheena's lies. What is happening
