I only remember that the main character's last name was 'Bai', I think. Him and a girl (I don't remember their relationship, but I'm pretty sure they did not like each other) and up transmigrating into ancient china (? maybe just another world/alternate reality). She ends up trying to become a concubine, and 'Bai' ends up working in the palace as a servant?? It is BL and Bai ends up with the emperor (or a prince, I don't remember. It's been years ORZ)
Please, if anyone remembers a novel even close to this bad description, I'd be so grateful ╥﹏╥
I'm literally waiting for an explosion to happen. My landlord and other house mate do NOT get along AT ALL! There's even lawyers involved and stuff. They were fighting yesterday as well and now they don't even speak. As it is, my landlord as made some rules and while I have no problem obliging to them (As they're common sense to me, honestly), my other house mate doesn't understand that. She leaves stuff everywhere and it's made both my landlord and me crazy. Now, my landlord is not supposed to touch the stuff of my other house mate (mainly stuff that's in the room she's rented out, cause privacy), but she's left quite a lot of stuff in the shared kitchen that she can't place in cupboards (cause gravity and weight) and my landlord got extremely pissed at that.
My house mate doesn't know as she's not home now, but all that stuff has been moved from the kitchen to in front of her door, meaning she can't get in. This is an explosion waiting to happen and I'm not excited for that...let's hope I can sleep, it's nearly 22.30 here. Oh god, I can't handle the anxiety. Thanks for reading this shit post and have a lovely day (〜˘◡˘)〜
Here to be the devil's advocate, but, this was supposed to be more of a wake up call for Maria. Because of her position as the future queen, very few people are capable of telling her off if she does something dangerous or inappropriate. The king stepped in to give her confinement (which while dramatic does get the point across for Maria that her life is no joke, she's not a superhero and her anctions have consequences for herself and the people around her). No matter how strong she is, she's still only one person. And she's so important to so many people.
Yea, let's run into a burning building to save people! Ahaha, but let's forget the fact that our fiancé had to watch us run to our death :D
I won't lie, I'd be hella mad too if someone I cared for so much, time and time again, showed that they 'think later, do now' and put themselves in harm's way to help other's.
If you can, you should definitely help other people. BUT RECKLESSLY PUTTING YOURSELF IN DANGER DOES NOT HELP THE SITUATION. Had this been anyone other than Maria, they would've likely 1. Not been able to lift the heavy debris off a person, 2. not been able to carry someone unable to walk by themselves, 3. walked through the fire getting BURNED ALL OVER (HELLO?!) and 4. not been able to properly breath because of all the smoke.
I get that it's just a manga and Maria is super, duper strong. But she's also not the type to think of consequences. She doesn't need to change, at all, in fact I'm sure she won't change. She will overcome this, together with Renato. But she needs to become more aware that all the things she herself knows she can do, are things that are reckless in the eyes of everyone that watches her do those things.
I'm expecting this to not go over well lol, with all the hate for this latest chapter, so I'm gonna be really curious to see how this plays out, be my guest and duke it out in replies if you want. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I completely agree with you
