Shame♡Application
There were moments when I felt everything could have been settled if one of them had just TALKED to the other, but it was a better story than I went into it thinking it would be. Also... I want a Dobin... Please (꒪ཀ꒪)

THIS.IS.JUST.SO.ADORABLE!!!! OMG My heart! <3 The only thing wrong with this is that there isn't more of it.
Back to School
This! This is a fantastic character study... I fell in love with Chiwoo! He is a wonderful lead, he fights against his abuser, and never gives up. Surrounds himself with good people and strives forward.
EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER feels real and fleshed out. Of course, there are trigger warnings, so read it if you think you can. But if you do... DO NOT READ THE SEQUAL!
Back to School: All Grown Up
I was heartbroken reading this... because "Back To School" is AMAZING. I would recommend it all day long. SAYING THAT.... This. THIS IS. Well, considering they made it Canon that Chiwoo was sexually assaulted, you don't see it in BTS but the author does confirm this. To have him asking his lover to "STOP" repeatedly and be ignored felt it undid ALL the incredible character writing of the first one.
All I ever wanted for Chiwoo was for him to be happy and safe. And they took the romantic lead, who was supposed to be the romantic Antagonist's mirror image. (Has his positive traits without the negative ones), and they all but turned him into the Antagonist. Being needy, manipulative, and inconsiderate with one exception. And that's just in the first two chapters. I couldn't read on because it hurt to see everything I had loved and rooted for, undone.
If you have read "Back To School" DO NOT READ THIS.
Evenly Matched Love
BANGS HEAD AGAINST LAPTOP.... I'm blaming myself for this one. I read the description and actually hoped for better... never made it past chap 2.
I- Where is a decent romantic interest?? T_T
Youth(hyoming)
I couldn't get past chapter 3 for this one. Not only is the lead in an affair to start with, which he feels very conflicted over while his female partner seems to treat it and him like a game... The supposed romantic lead is creepily nasty. Like, casually using this information to blackmail a straight guy into dating him because the straight guy reminds him of his first boyfriend??!!! I felt so fucking sorry for the lead, like if I stopped reading it would stop getting worse for him. Tip for writers out there... Your leads romantic options should NOT feel like the rock and the hard place, at least ONE of them should be of comfort to your lead.
And just general life tips. Should you find yourself in this situation, leave the affair, (you're most likely being played with), and tell the person blackmailing you to do one... THIS IS NOT ROMANTIC... CHRIST why do people think this is romantic???
Under the Green Light
OK I had to stop at chapter 24. This is not because it was bad, but because it was written very well with a complex and rather broken lead. And I was highly triggered by something that has been heavily foreshadowed and I just had to get out before it came into florishion.
To call this a romance would be off... it's more about two broken people who end up in each others orbit, and the story doesn't shy away from this, it doesn't try to make it feel like it's fluffy and nice. Which is why I think it's actually an exemption to the rule of the romantic lead shouldn't be the reason for pain. When it's made clear that the relationship isn't great and the characters are aware enough and you as readers are then I think it can work.
but yeah trigger warnings ahead friends...
Walk on Water
I- well damn, that just ran the whole spectrum of emotions didn't it? It's by far not flawless, but it is incredible. And I would suggest at least trying it. There are a few triggers for abuse (not from the leading romantic interest! YAY!) and rape, so if that does bother you, please approach with caution.
