and dont get me wrong, im not a "hater", but a disappointed reader who has been reading this since the first episode was published here. i waited for it hoping that itd go differently from how i imagined, but it just went exactly as i predicted it would go lol. wasted potential.
still though, this is such a recurring theme in these manhwas. authors should make more storylines that show its okay to cut off ties with people that have hurt you. or at least show that the parent is genuinely worthy of reconnection cause istfg his mom didnt do anything deserving of a reunion.
I mean we never saw hyesung's dad again. And sometimes you just want answers or to feel a sense of normalcy by reconnecting with family. It took years for hyesung to agree to see his mom again and maybe he'll never see her again.
