i think rather than a dragon, he's more like a phoenix. he has a black fur, born in the lava. his monster form doesn't look like dragon as well. and he is by far, characteristic-wise, is the most "MONSTERY" being a monster himself which may make everyone find it disturbing. bc every damn dragon or monster-hybrid characters we have seen before was described as devoted soft hearted ones. they're no different than human but have superpower. but amon is truly a monster, which monster characteristic, he's no human. on top of that, the priests in the grand temple seems to make his judgement more twisted. for all those centuries, he himself must've seen mortals evilness, so that he doesn't even see them as worth.

this damn story is so freaking realistic it hurts a lot fucccckkkk... some people might find cheol annoying but i can really relate to him. no matter how your family abandoned you, if what you long is their affection, you wouldn't bear to see them get hurt the only thing cheol's need is LOVE. he really deserves ji minyeong who's so crazy about him, it's his karma i think.... or else he'd be so miserable
