I still like the story but not the romance part, I don’t like either of the Princes.
And the art OMG I just love it. Also they did a great job with the art design and animation for Scarlet in the anime.
I made the huge mistake of asking Google AI how the story ended without specifying that I only wanted the actual ending from the light novel. Instead, it started giving me detailed plot points from the fanfic ‘The Return of the First Born’… and I had no idea it was a fanfic.
Complete tragedy. I cried my eyes out over that ending, and when I kept asking for more details, Google AI finally told me, “By the way… that’s a fanfic.”
Let me guess…It got axed.

Unfortunately, I’m dropping it. The latest chapter where they kissed, and that was enough for me…I didn’t even read the rest.
Honestly, it’s such a shame because this story had so much potential, and the art is absolutely spectacular. I genuinely enjoyed it… right up until the children started talking about marriage and tying people to each other as future spouses, while making deals to save family members from death.
I probably would’ve been fine with this whole development if they had been older—like teenagers or young adults, around 18. But they’re children, and that completely changes the way the whole situation feels.
At that point, I just sat there thinking, “Wow… what a beautiful story. What a shame you decided to do that.”
