i have mixed feelings with this one. honestly, it's disappointing to see that minoru got the short end of the stick compared to the other japanese people getting the money. who knows if these people would use it for good?
personally, i thought the rule should've said that both the seller and the buyer will die at the same time, but that would've altered the story greatly. let's say minoru receives the cash but trump refuses the notebook. that could've been cooler.
not only is the author talented at art, but they're also educated in music history, artistic movements, and classical composition... the characters look and feel like real people and it is so easy to immerse yourself in the setting... it's genuinely so unique and i can't believe some people dismiss NME for more flavorless, palatable yaoislop. it's whiplash x hannibal x monster x fujimoto.
