I have spent years coming back to this story for comfort and joy. It proved that a plot doesn't need to be overly complex to be deeply loved. That is why the direction after Season 4 hurts so much. I know people will say, "just stop reading," and maybe I should. But it is hard to walk away when you have grown up with these characters. I just don't understand why authors feel the need to force SA into every storyline. We are all aware of these realities, but exploiting them for shock value is just sick. This characters deserved so much better.
I am deeply deeply saddened by this.
