i read some old comments and the discussion is that this author plagiarized wetsand and basically copied the artstyle because of the similarities of the characters design as well as the building however others defend this author saying they have debuted in 2018 before the wetsand author and since the wetsand fans are already having shitloads of drama between each other and with the author about wetsands ending being so bad (which idk if its bad or they just werent satisfied with it) and being animated or not, i'm still super confused as well but this is what i have understood so far i DNF wetsand so i have no clue about the ending but from how much i have read i can tell it is not similar to this manga

YUPP, basically people have been sharing ss of how they have been blocked by the author for no reason or they just expressed their letdown on the ending and why wetsand is being involved in another manhwa (borderline) but most people the author blocked were bc of the death threats the they were receiving, also since the story is love triangle trope that was poorly executed, which involves dark themes and those two combined you get two sides of readers, one who will attack anyone who dares to share any small criticism (which i assume those who are now attacking the author of this manga that's why it has bad ratings) and any dislike to TJ (the ML that the MC (ian) didn't end up with)

p.s i might read wetsand again and try to form my own personal opinion about it so i can at least understand why the criticism the manhwa is getting, not that i think its right in any shape or form to insult or send death threats for an author for not liking a manhwa, those people need help

I actually once read wetsand wayy back, when it was still just new here and i also really liked tj. I left it to marinate for too long and then found out that tj wasn't going to be the ml so i basically stayed away from it lmaoo.

I think i might pick Wetsand again just out of curiosity
