I'm not up to date with all the chapters, but there’s something I don't understand. In this world, men are forced to marry women, and women seem to hold all the power in relationships; they treat men poorly, have multiple partners & sex slaves, and all of this is portrayed as socially acceptable (basically a reversal of the roles seen in some other manga).
Given that setup, I don’t understand how every character with political or military power shown so far is male. There is a queen, but she hasn’t done anything significant and hasn’t even appeared in the assemblies depicted so far. Is there an explanation for this imbalance, or is it just an underdeveloped plot point? As it stands, it makes no sense to me.
There was a reveal (I think in later LN). The whole system was a fake setup, that ONLY middle/lower level aristocrats follow (aka baron, Marques, Count). The REALLY powerful ones - Duke, Prince, King, etc do NOT follow this "tradition". The whole thing about women being powerful and men forced to marry them, was a scheme created by country rules long ago in order to control mid-nobles, especially borderland land owners do they wouldn't rebel or defect, and would be so busy dealing with "powerful" women to think about anything else.
Additionally, the whole thing is unique to this ONE kingdom (aka first game or two), ALL other kingdoms (aka sequel games) have their own setup and weird traditions. Current and recent manga chapters are based in different kingdom where MC, and original characters are Exchange students. So totally different setups.
I feel bad for the people of that world who died in the war. At the end of the day, most of these players (gods) don't see them as real people, but as NPCs to play with, the war and all of these battles were unnecessary from the very beginning.
One of the reasons I like AR (goddess dressed in black) is because when things got thought she decided to go down to try and save her people, unlike the other gods who are mostly playing with the lives of the people. She's not perfect, she also chose to participate in the war, but idk, I liked her sacrifice.
Since Serie claims that clairvoyance spells were passed down from the south, could this connect to the Hero of the South, the one who could see the future? We know he fought and defeated several Sages of Destruction (Demon King’s generals), but we only know that the demons eventually defeated him, we don't know what really happened. Could the demons have tampered with his corpse or magic? Or perhaps a descendant was captured and brainwashed by the Shadow Warriors.
I still think this is all part of a demon scheme. The demon Schlacht could see thousands of years ahead, he knew he would die at the hands of the Hero of the South and still chose to face him, which means there was something to gain. Now, seeing how Serie’s killer seems to wield clairvoyance as well, I feel it has to be related to these 2 individuals.
And honestly, I’m convinced the demons’ ultimate goal is to resurrect the Demon King, perhaps in human form since he was said to want to coexist with humanity. If that happens, it could also explain why Himel couldn't draw the hero sword from the stone, the time to wield it simply hadn’t come yet. Which also makes me curious about the goddess's magic, and if there really was a goddess, maybe an elf that ended up being glorified as a god due to helping humanity for a long time... Anyway, I'm rambling.

Love this, love that, do these people not know the definition of abuser or toxic?
Abusive love is still love, love is neither purely good nor purely evil, it's a complicated concept. So yes Riette is abusive to Noah, but yes she also loves him. The fact she was unwilling to kill him as a natural born s class is enough proof of that.
