I stopped reading at ch21 cuz I cannot stand Yuna. How did she even become a killer when she’s so useless and can’t do anything and the MC is technically 70-80yrs old but always hovering over a teenager? Can someone pls tell me it gets better
It gets better and there’s no romance. He legit sees her and the other main high schoolers like his grandkids. He’s protective of them and helps them get stronger.
Also, all the highschoolers in the volunteer club are all weak lol Most of them aren’t serious about becoming assassins. They always opt out whenever there’s an opportunity to volunteer lo
If it helps, after Peter recruits the guy on the cover (Thaddeus) he leaves the highschool. Then Yuna doesn’t appear in later chapters. Like it’s just solely focused on Peter taking down Glory and collecting people he fought like Pokémon.
Bro its not romantic at all. From both sides. Peter thinks of Yuna as his kid and Yuna sees him as a brother. Not all blushing means romantic. It can also mean showing emotion or embarrassment.
I saw a comment complaining about harem and ecchi but as a romance hater, I really enjoyed this manhwa. The MC is really indifferent to the girls in this. If you think this is bad, there are worse webtoons out there. MC is more focused on himself and his survival and he’s very logical. I really like that he does what he wants and doesn’t give in to pity or sense of justice.
The story telling is also good and pacing is amazing. I love that it’s detailed when it comes to explaining the monster types and all. Give it a try!
