huh... He knows his brother patterns and knows that if he doesn't follow what his brother says he might end up loosing his life and at the moment, he cannot trust taekang. What if he trusts him again only to be left alone once more and to be caught by his brother??? To suffer another "accident"? I mean, have you ever lost your faith on someone in your life? When you lose it, it is really hard to build it back. In his mind, he is all by himself trying to do what his brother tells him to only to survive or to avoid abuse. He cannot trust taekang again yet. He's been on an accident, after being awfully rejected by the person he trusted could help him against his brother. I totally understand him. He is not "dumb". He lost faith and feels all alone.

I think the only way for 2nd lead to be end game would be if Garon died. But the mf doesn't die and he keeps chasing MC and killing ppl on the way. I understand MC not wanting to be with 2nd lead, since thanks to him, 2nd lead's mother was killed. That's too much to bear. But the fact that he loves Garon is crazy (or he decided to stay with him as a captive in the end, since Garon keeps killing people???? And he felt guilty??? Idk Either way, f-cked up.)
I had to read to understand how absurd it is, and why the commenters were so angry. Personally, from ch44 to ch46 (where I stopped to comment) it was just absurd and rage bait. I have no right to criticize the author because I think they have the right to build the story however they want if it makes sense inside the story. But these chapters, how ML reacted, how MC behaved made me so angry lmao
