I can't believe that the best way I can describe this is 'pretty trash' (if you have read the story ikykyk). I hope there is a side story with them imprinting. Ngl it was enjoyable but it did felt a bit unfinished. And I am kind of confused of the ml qas acting the whole time or was he in fact struggling with something (or was Jiyoon manipulating Jaeha the whole time? Like emotionally and Jiyoon was never struggling with past trauma or anything like and he was just crazy to begin with). I would appreciate it if someone tells me their theories
I think I first find out the webtoon back in late 2021/early 2022 and since then I have read this so many times over and over again. I can confidently say this is my most favourite manhwa if all time. All the emotions I felt reading (or rereading this)... it really become a rollercoaster of emotions at some point, lmao. And this was genuinely the first time I was frustrated, understood characters on a very deep/personal level, got raged by actions of other characters, it felt like I was living within the webtoon. The fact that the characters felt so real, with their emotions, their flaws and their interests, you really could sympathize with them.
I still remember how I couldn't wait for the next chapter so I started reading the novel but it wasn't fully translated back then. So it was non-stop rereading and comparing both the novel and the webtoon (in the good way. I had fun seeing how my imagination of reading the novel and how the webtoon represented the same scenes. And sometimes how a quote from a poorly translation become so heartwarming). I am really gonna miss waiting for it, for the new chapters and episodes. But at least there are still nore side stories to come around! So I can't wait for that.
It is still wild for me how I was reading this in highschool and now that I am in university it ended but my emotions are still here. Even if I know the stpry from start to finish and what is going to happen I really love rereading and experiencing this all over again.
Really amazing story.
For the people that are confused why is this chapter so short? There are two parts for it. One was uploaded last week on the official site for Gachiakuta manga. The other was uploaded today. (You can check that on Kei Urana's official Instagram account). What we read today was part 1 of 2. That's why it's so short. I guess the next part will be uploaded next week or smth.
Oh, I so hope she does not discontinue Gachiakuta
I can't believe the Gachiakuta fandom become so toxic holy fuck-
fans got so toxic about the smallest shit they literally kicked Urana out of Twitter and she had to private her comment section on Instagram.
They were mad about bs- Tamsy being trans which is untrue and Urana told them that and they got mad why isn't Tamsy trans. Same with Urana pronounces. Fans said she used they/them (non-binary) and Urana said that she is she/her AND FANS GOT MAD ABOUT IT DUDE
and a lot of other stuff happened.
Basically one part of the fandom is not a fandom but ppl who are too para social and have nothing better to do than hate on ppl.
This- I literally cried when I read how Gyungwoo came out to others and wasn't afraid holding hands with his lover (even if at the beginning it was for "practice") and thus they did not hide their relationship (/TДT)/
Honestly, I was surprised as much as Jihoon when Gyungwoo was so accepting and his friends as well (as part of the lgbtq it is really tough to have a lover and to show it without being lookid upon or even threatened). It really felt like it was not a fictional but an actual story. It is such a gem fr fr
I got lost in the plot Σ(  ̄□ ̄||)
Putting this as a reminder to reread this and the prequel after some sleep-
but I am glad at least some things were acknowledged here. The prequel did felt very unfinished because of that or so I think.
Or maybe I should go and read it in the jp version cause the eng translation kind of confuses me #-.-)
otherwise I dont think its bad. It is a nice read if you can properly follow the plot and understand the characters

The art? Peak
the story? Loved it
the characters? Holy damn I don't know if I wanna be them or be with them
Over all I loved this
And I really liked the detail when the top rejected his coworker even tho he still wasn't in a relationship with the pretty bottom.
