I find it so confusing as why the grandfather would waste the last year of his life, not being with his granddaughter and not telling her that he only has one year to live so that she can appreciate their time together and use their time together wisely. Instead, he decided to mess up her life and future during that one year with this random marriage with an ex that has caused her pain in the past full of misunderstandings and unexplained hidden stories for one year and what’s gonna happen after he dies if the promise was that he only stays with her for one year wouldn’t that mean when her grandfather dies the ex will leave too as promised why is a grandfather setting her up for failure in one year how is that going to make her a successful designer, keeping her in the dark only for him to pass away in a year and then her ex who she finally decided to open up to leaves her, making her the same position she was in the past but now without her grandfather her only moral support. I find this very insensitive all the people around her own, who know the truth and think that it’s better she didn’t know if I were in her position I would for sure want to know every single detail about anyone and everyone who I care about, I would never wanna be left in the dark, and if I am left in the dark, I feel more betrayed That they did not believe or trust that information with me.
