Hes really needs a hug and some time to heal. It's easy to forget because a lot of it was implied, but Hes really had a hard time. This is her third life. She felt so trapped and stuck when she couldn't go home in her second life. She was so depressed and wished to disappear. When she saw Karl, she was so happy and made him her reason for living. She related to him, but then he committed suicide and she had to deal with the aftermath while no one was around. It was implied that she went to the temple everyday, but she was treated very badly even when she was sick. Based on the flashbacks of her begging at the temple and them throwing her out while shouting Diana no longer healed and the flashback at the very beginning of her at the temple before the statue and the on lookers whispering she came every day. Her desire for vengeance and drive to change things was the only thing that kept her going. In a way, it was the only reason she got a second chance. Therefore, even if Kael moves on, she can't because she was the only one who saw and lived through it all. She is so defensive because she saw what they did and how they reacted . She also has no one to talk to about it with. There were moments that I thought she acted the way she did because of the novel, but it was really trauma from her 2nd life and maybe because she worked for a exploitative company in her first life. She feels like she has to protect Cael, her only hope and reason to live, from the world in order for them both to survive.
I think both characters have some major issues, but some people haven't notice that cheating (emotionally or physically) is not the only things the uke has done. He is manipulative, a gaslighter, and emotionally abusive in a way. Considering age, the uke's knowledge of the seme's unfortunate background and insecurity, and his clear goal of keeping the uke around to make himself feel better, you could even argue that he is unconsciously grooming the uke. In a way, the uke is causing the downfall of them both because of his insecurity, loneliness, and insincerity. It's like he stuck his hand in a pot of boiling water but didn't notice because it was on low heat. If they both had close friends, maybe they would notice the impact they were having on one another. Both need therapy and to separate from each other.
Is she out here feeding princes and nobles from other countries rolled up slices of cucumbers? Imagine what they must think. These people are mocking me, incompetent, have a "unique" culture, think we have a "unique" culture, or are going poor. It is not a good look if they met before and not a good impression if they are meeting for the first time. Plus, imagine traveling a long way by boat and land for a slice of cucumber.
Right like at least give them some meat cause now this isn't even just looked at as a "unique" culture its looked at as disrespectful and they may even take the country lightly while thinking they're suffering so much they can't properly feed their royal guests

Yeah, if she truly cared, she would do that. It's like she doesn't want anyone to have nice things. Instead of improving anything, she is making things worse for everyone. Why is she so controlling?
How can you take advantage of someone and treat them like they are in the wrong or crazy and then get surprised when they start acting crazy. I'm starting to see why things escalated so much in the beginning.
Heavy side eye for Set. I've read too many stories not to be suspicious. He smells like a demon and has no reflection. Side eye. He lives close to the MC. Side eye. He was around and kind to the hunting dogs of the family in the past. Side eye. He might be a demon in the present while MC was accused in the past. Heavy side eye. MC worked for him in the past and he is the "sick" brother. Both eyes.Now, I want to know how old he was when the sister disappeared. Osiris seems nice though. Hope him and the MC can be close in the future.
To be honest, I don't dislike the crown prince. I don't think he is a bad person, but he is definitely a bad friend. Like the problem isn't that Diana chose you, the problem is that you abandoned your best friend multiple times just to spare Diana's feelings. She publicly shamed him and treated him like a villian, but the crown prince said nothing. He was a bystander. Everytime he thought about apologizing or correcting Diana, all she had to do was shed a few tears and he changed him mind. After all that, he really thought seeing them happy would make Kael happy. Now, he has to watch Kael and Hes be happy. Crazy how life work. But, I really hope that he is just envious of Kael have a capable. I like that he and Hes argue like siblings. I don't want him to look at her that way.
I kept trying to understand why she was so upset. She is clearly not mad that he is the imperal crown prince; in fact, it seems like she already suspected it. I think her father explained it best when he said she is not use to not having her way. Since the start of their relationship, she felt like she was in control. She already planned their relationship in her head. She made most of the decisions and drew the lines, and he followed. Now, however, he is strictly saying no and drawing his own line. He is saying I am willing to do everything else but this (talking about or acknowledging his past as a member of the royal family). He is making her realize won't do everything she says, and she feels stuck because she can't think of a way to make him. She is realizing he is her husband and equal who has been indulging her not being submissive or subordinate to her. If my thought process is right, then I can't help but see her as someone who is simply pouting and throwing a tantrum. It might take a while, but I think they'll be ok when they start talking.
Hmmmn though ur take makes sense somewhat, i feel it was more of the feeling of betrayal? She’s aware that she doesn’t know everything ab Killian and she’s willing to respect Killian’s boundaries (it was mentioned in that terrace scene after their wedding, p sure she mentioned it too earlier on) she trusted on Killian because he said that he was going to talk ab it w/ her in the right time, thats why she refused to pry even when she perfectly could just instruct her brother to do so and even when she was starting to suspect things ab him.
It was something that they were spose to talk ab 1 on 1 someday and she ended up finding ab it through someone else thats not him. <Cuz wym he’s the icp? Was he planning on coercing me to be the crown princess? Why did he keep this from me?> she’s probably full of thoughts like that rn and honestly, a good talk would solve all her worries but the thing is, this is her first time being in love. She’s usually ur typical rational, intellectual, know-it-all wealthy businesswoman of the south but now that she’s in love with someone she’s now torn on what to do, what to feel, and what to say. It may seem that she’s throwing temper tantrums, but she’s really just someone hopelessly in love and needs time before talking things out much less doing anything ab it (her father did say that she’s unusually taking long making a decision on what to do)
This is a lot of “firsts” that Adele is experiencing, expect that she won’t solve it as quickly as she usually does w/ her businesses and that it’ll take time (i hope not too much time TT). On the bright side though, this is going to be an important turning point in both ml & fl’s married life & will only get better from here on out (trust

That’s the whole problem. Adele has spent the whole time telling Killian everything there is to know about herself. She showed him her home, her family, her business. And she gave him space to continue the conversation, to tell her about his own life and family and childhood.
But he doesn’t talk. Killian shows her over and over again that she doesn’t need to know. Hell, he even says he doesn’t WANT to tell her. He knows that she’s waiting for him, but he shuts down the conversation anyways.
And Adele would have kept waiting. She would have kept giving him space to tell her on his own terms. All she wanted was to hear it from her husband, and she couldn’t even have that.
You made some goods points. I also agree and thought similar things. I kept thinking maybe it's this and maybe it's that. I also left a lot of my thought process out, so it kinds seems like I'm calling her a child, but I really meant to emphasize that she is feeling helpless and realizing because of the nature of her relationship and her husband's personality, she might continue to fell helpless and not in control. A lot of this is happening for the first time for her even as someone who was reborn, so I think she prefers to be in control of things as a way of dealing with things. But, this situation is causing her to react more emotionally than she is used to. Rather than betrayed and hurt, I believe she feels more upset because she wanted to hear it from him and not someone else. She seems to be placing less emphasis on you didn't tell me and more on you didn't tell me first. If he apologizes and becomes more open with her, I her mood will immediately return to normal and be more satisfied. Since he is not doing that, I think she is expressing her displeasure with her actions (e.g. not coming out of her room but also not throwing away the flowes)kinda like pouting or throwing a tantrum. I could be wrong. I might need to reread the stor ly since it has been a while.
True!! Heavy on the “he doesn’t WANT to tell her” part too!! That scene where he told her that he regrets failing to keep the secret from her shows that he would’ve kept it as long as he could even if it meant forever and i found that really frustrating because why even???? Tho at the same time we’ve yet to have a backstory on him so maybe theres a reason for him wanting it to be kept a secret ugh TT
I personally also found it upsetting how he forced her into another oath after all that because he won’t accept a divorce from her, its concerning because it felt all so one sided AND all so confusing because of all the mixed signals!!— i just hope this quarrel arc finishes soon;;
Ur good ur good, ur right about fl feeling frustrated & upset w/ how things are playing out so i hope they get a good long talk about everything because they really need it TT because personally, it hurts seeing them having their first conflict and losing sleep and energy over it.
I agree, but I also believe that he needed more time. She also knew this which was why she was waiting. Because of scheming someone one his secret was revealed before he was ready. Despite what he said, it's hard to conclude that he never would have told her later on. At this time, they haven't know each other for long and haven't talked much about themselves. In his mind, he already decided he didn't have a family, basically disowning them and dening their existence. Since he already disowned and left them, he felt that he doesn't have to talk about or acknowledge them. It might sound crazy, but his family is his trauma and his darkest secret. He is not comfortable talking about them. Even though they are married, they are still in the dating phase just like Adele said. I don't expect them to tell each other their deepest darkest secrets or traumas right away (e.g., being a lost prince and being a reincarnator). I don't think Adele expected this either which is why she was waiting. She just wanted to hear it from him first.
