So I don’t wanna be that type of person, but it’s likely not bipolar. Manic bipolar episodes are in median 13 weeks not every few hours. The short term version would be at lest 4 days of mania and 2 weeks of depression (bipolar II).

You can still have difficulty in controlling your moods/behavior during mild mood episodes or during the lows/depression. When I first started taking medication it was like those emotions that made me shift would disappear and just evened me out and helped me go about my day. When I went off of my meds (due to insurance reasons) it was terrible and I realized how much they helped me just get through everyday life and help me have a clear head when making decisions/reacting. When I enter episodes though, they do last for as long as you say they do. It's so stereotypical but sometimes it really is random mood swings throughout the day.
To be clear though, I don't think it's bipolar disorder either
