After the boy transferred school and moved. They barely had time to meet each other. But as time went by, he started to come meet with her less and less. And soon, he moved on and found another love, forgetting her all together. While she's there, still waiting for the day he remembered her and come visit her again.

Years had past.

The boy is now an adult and had moved back to the the place that he used to live in. Feeling nostalgic, he decided to visit the place where the girl lived. He was greeted with a new face and was surprised. He asked them about the family that used to live there and was told that they had moved places. He asked again where they lived and thankfully, they were aware of it and gave him the address. Since it's been years since the last time they met, he decided that he would surprised her by paying her a visit to their new home.

The next day, he rushed to the address he was given. He felt himself getting nervous as he's about to ring the bell. The first time, there was no response. The second time, he heard a voice screaming, informing him that whoever the person inside the house is now aware of his presence. As the footsteps neared the door, he could sense himself getting even more nervous than before.

The sound of the door opening had made his heart skip a beat from the anticipation of meeting his childhood best friend and first love.

The door opened but the face he saw was not someone he was expecting to see. The face that greeted him was surprised at the sudden intrusion. But that face soon turned to that of an anger.

He was confused but calm himself down to ask the one at the door where the girl is.

"She's not here anymore"

Was the first word he heard. He asked the person how he'd be able to reach out to her and whether it would be possible to meet her.

"She's dead"

Not quite sure whether he heard the person correctly, he asked again. But there was nothing but anger in the person's face and no other response. Now, he's sure that what he heard was true. The person he wanted to meet after all those years is now gone and cannot be reached.

He saw tears trickle down the face of the person in front of him as the person continued

"She waited every single day at the place you used to hang out. Even when everyone told her to give it up, she always replied that you would find it in your heart to remember to visit her again, that you're just late. Even when the weather was not good and even when her health was declining, she waited every single day for you to show up. She didn't get proper treatment when she found out that she had a heart disease saying that you'd show up and would be disappointed if you didn't see her there. Even on the last day of her life, she was there, stupidly waiting for you. But guess what, the person she was waiting for did not even have the heart to show up during her funeral."

Now, the person in front of him was shaking in anger and sadness and teared up even more.
He now truly felt the gravity of the situation.

That day, he returned to his old house, feeling a sense of emptiness as he reminiscent on the past that he had left, and the girl he had shared years of his memories with.
