Nope. Absolutely nope. He raped him. Rape doesn't have redemption. Fujodanshi
see: low tide in twilight, warehouse not that i'm trying to change your stance or anything, but it'd be interesting to see your opinion on those ones! to me the writing is what makes a "redemption arc" even possible. The story of Jinx/JK is.... too far gone
I read both and I still stand with my opinion. The storytelling was really good. But doesn't mean I simply forgot the rape and accepted Yeo Taeju. Good husband? Good father? Yeah, no, thanks. I'd like a man who can be all those things without the rape part. Sexual assault can be used as a plot but shouldn't be forgiven to have certain characters end together and entirely romanticize their journey while the abuse is simply forgotten for the "Happily Ever After"

That's totally fair. I like LTIT and accepted the redemption arc, but I read that before Warehouse and honestly Warehouse kinda upped my expectations for a good redemption arc. The yellow eyed guy (can't remember his name, don't want to look it up) ONLY was able to get with the MC after he accepted that he can't force what happened out of their heads for a fresh start. He doesn't get off that easy, and I feel like a lot of authors struggle to reckon with that in their redemption arcs too
Like sure its fun to throw every single bit of angst possible (guys we should forgive Horse Face because he had a gambling addicted/alcoholic/crack addict/poor asf/abusive dad and his mom abandoned him isn't that saaaad) but then don't pretend like a story is anything but soap opera slop because every single character decided to forgive the abusive guy
I was invested in this as a serious story until the whole Actor guy walking in on JK bdsm sex torturing Dan basically blah blah blah don't care; now I'm just reading with popcorn to see how ridiculous the author gets.
Honestly I hope Dan immediately forgives him atp that would be so fucking funny (this is not my opinions on real life people suffering through intense trauma)

true. I don't mean that they should be together or that ml should even forgive him, what I meant was that jaekyung could change into a better person. The sa should never be forgiven in any circumstance for me tbh, i probably should've used a different word.
Hai Hai so I'm planning on uploading the new chapters to you guys since the original uploader haven't uploaded for a long time... I need a translator to help me cause I'm the one who is editing every pages T-T. Please dm me on twitter @Jay_4sh if you are willing to help that you very very much T-T
yes, jaekyung is an absolute dogshit person, but it is possible for him to have a redemption ark.
