In chapter 4, the terminology got a little messed up: The priestesses are being called 'hetairai' instead of 'hiereiai', which is quite an amusing mixup, for hetairai were high-ranking prostitutes. Even though Aphrodite was considered the patron of prostitutes, her priestesses were most certainly not of this profession. Furthermore, I have never seen the word λος (los, not ros), but the closest translation could be 'dark', in a bad omen kind of sense. That would require some big grammatical liberties and a Xi instead of a Sigma, though. And I’m going to take the liberty of overlooking the whole ‘Wind and Butterfly’ business.

(Also, portraying Aphrodite/Venus on a shell is based on Botticelli's 'The Birth of Venus' from the late middle-ages, so neither ancient nor Greek.)
